- Project 1: Develop new machine learning techniques for the analysis of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) of Brain images. Several large clinical studies include advanced MRI and PET scans that need to be aligned and analysed to generate novel biomarkers. Specific skills include C++, Matlab, python, web and cloud technologies, image processing.
- Project 2: Develop new cloud computing platform for delivering computer assisted techniques to clinicians with the aim at improving diagnostic accuracy. Specific skills include C++, Matlab, python, web and cloud technologies, image processing.
- Project 3: Develop computerised methods for DNA analysis and bio statistical methods. We are working on several large clinical studies gathering for 1000s of subjects data on imaging, genomics, proteomics, and cognition. We are aiming at mining those data to understand various disorders and diseases. Specific skills Matlab, python, R, advanced statistics.
- Project 4: In collaboration with several medical imaging centres we are developing new MRI and PET techniques. Projects exist to investigate novel imaging technologies in close collaboration with clinicians and medical physicists. Specific skills: physics, medical physics, Matlab, C++ programming.
